      A Non-Denominational Prayer Ministry
Enhancing and Strengthening Your Present Ministries

About Us
Frontline Intercessors was started by Charles Walker and Jim Kubiak while at Bethel Seminary, later joined by Larry Eddingfield, a fellow seminarian, who also had a similar vision for the Ramona area.

They would meet weekly for prayer as they shared a burden for Ramona and the surrounding area. It was a year after these meetings for prayer that the Good Lord started to give them the vision for the Frontline Intercessors prayer ministry group.

They kept meeting for prayer while talking to others about their vision. The group started to grow, still keeping small. Then the calendar was added, with each day prayer was offered for schools and churches, each by name, along with the citizens of the Ramona area, and Seniors Citizens. The calendar was distributed to the churches in Ramona as Jim and Charles talked with them to interest them in the prayer group.

Soon Don Schumacher from Grace Community Church and Michael Bonner from St. Mary's-in-the-Valley joined the Frontline Intercessors prayer ministry group. Then a few more joined.

The initial intent was to rotate the places where the group would meet for prayer. However, the concept was slow in coming about. Then St. Mary's offered to host the monthly meetings for the first year.

After a few months, with an average attendance of 4-6 people, Fr. Larry Eddingfield accepted a position as Asst. Rector in a church closer to San Diego. Charles felt the need to go back to San Diego to pick up some loose ends, yet he continued to come whenever possible. Then Jim felt called to a new ministry at Grace Community, so he relinquished his leadership position.

Since Don and Michael had been most consistent with attendance, they then felt Called to take over the Frontline Intercessors leadership positions. During the period of the haitus, the calendar went to the back burner until we could take over that part of the ministry, with which Jim had done so well.

After Don and Michael had prayer for direction one night, they started to get answers by dismissal time that night. Two of those answers were that we should have a website and E-mail address, using a Domain name, that being frontlineintercessors.org.

After a brief hiatus, our goal is again to be calling on other churches, telling them about our prayer ministry, supplemented by our website and E-mail communications links.
