Joint Efforts of Three Prayer Groups
In the past few years, three known prayer groups have been meeting separately in Ramona.   We now feel it is time that we should start a joint effort, rather than each of them in effect going our own way as has been the case in the last few years.

Pete (Coach Pete) Zindler has been the leader for Ramona's Evening of Prayer. Al Rogers (760-788-5059) and Chuck Snyder (760-789-7573) have been the leaders for the Ramona Prayer Breakfast. Michael Bonner (760-717-1776) has been the leader for Frontline Intercessors.  Our group have been meeting in the last few months to plan for this joint effort.  After much discussion about where to start meeting, we started this joint effort this year on August 7 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at the corner of Twelfth Street and San Vicente Road.  It is planned to be meeting in rotation amongst the participating churches, with the next one starting for the October and November meetings will be at Spirit of Joy Lutheran at 1735 Main Street in Ramona.

The name of this new joint prayer group is Frontline Intercessors.

Some of the basic goals are (1) that it is not sponsored by a particular church or denomination, (2) clergy are welcome, and (3) it is not planned to take away from any present ministries, but rather to enhance existing ministries,

One of their most basic common goals is to pray for youth.

Another part of their efforts is to pray for schools and churches by name, not in generalities.
Letters are being sent to church Pastors telling them that they were prayed for at the previous month's meeting and to solicit their specific requests to be prayed for at the next month's meeting.
